We the residents and citizens of Canada do not want to look up at our beautiful star-filled sky and be also seeing defensive or offensive weapon and satellite systems. This would be a sign that the true serenity humans have witnessed throughout thousands of years would be no more.

Sirs, we ask you to consider:

That we certainly wouldn't want Canada to join the United States in the financial and moral liability should the actions of escalating militarization of space and elsewhere cause a needless conflagration.

For these reasons and many more, we say, "No to Canadian participation in any future missile systems with the United States. We call for a Canada-wide discussion and parliamentary debate on this matter."
